After 9 hours 21 minutes from Sydney airport we arrived in Tokyo Narita airport, our first glimpse of Japan. The plane spent 12 minutes taxiing to our final gate - gate 84, of at least 215 gates - this place is huge!
The bus from the airport was a 60 Km drive to Tokyo centre where our hotel is. The density of living here is hard to describe. 8 million people live in the Tokyo city centre.
Sandy please please tell mum that we are safe and well and that we had a great first day here in Tokyo Japan!
